MP4, but note that it is the newer H.265, and not H.264

How does it work if it only have one camera?
Answer:
It has 2 180° cameras that makes the 360° or you can also use 1 camera and take 180° picture and video

I've currently got a galaxy note 3, and don't want an s7 (waiting for the note 6 for my next upgrade). how well does this work with windows software?
Answer:
If you're keeping up with Samsung, they never made a Note 6 and instead called the next Note the Note 7. As of last week Samsung permanently stopped making the Note 7 model because of so many worldwide cases of them spontaneously catching fire.

4.Is this waterproof, i want to be outside in any kind of weather
Answer:
The Gear 360° instruction manual says that it is weatherproof - meaning it's safe if it gets splashed or if it is exposed to light rain. But under no circumstances should you ever submerge this underwater.
